AI champions & Train the Trainer
AI skills that keep growing inside your business.
A few colleagues already know their way around AI. They can become a reliable internal source of support. I help your AI champions guide others, share knowledge and assess applications with sound judgment.
Discuss a champions programmeWho this is for
For businesses developing internal champions, superusers or trainers. Participants need practical experience, time for the role and a clear mandate from management.
What AI champions should do
Champions help colleagues with suitable tasks, explain possibilities and limitations, and collect feedback from daily use. They can describe use cases and assess outputs against agreed criteria.
The role needs boundaries. System operation, data protection questions and subject-specific approvals remain with the people responsible. We establish when champions can help and when they should pass a question on.
Practising how to teach
In a Train the Trainer format, participants develop short learning sessions with suitable examples. They explain an application, guide an exercise and respond to common questions. They then receive feedback on clarity and accuracy.
Quality assessment is part of this: how do you spot missing evidence? What makes a task unsuitable? How do you explain a limitation without dismissing the whole application? We practise these situations with approved cases.
What stays in the business
The agreed scope includes material for internal learning sessions, criteria for assessing results and a process for questions. The group works out how knowledge will be maintained and changes to applications communicated.
A practical closing exercise shows whether participants can guide an activity themselves and handle a difficult case. Further support can focus on questions arising from real use.
Making the role work day to day
Together with the responsible manager, we discuss available time, expectations and points of contact. Internal knowledge sharing lasts when someone maintains the material and follows up on open questions.
Do champions need a technical background?
Practical AI experience matters most for teaching and assessing simpler applications. People who will build integrations or operate systems need additional technical skills and clear responsibilities. We shape the programme around the intended role.

Who will support or teach colleagues? Which tasks and how much time are assigned to that role?
